McLaughlin has been performing for the summer crowds in Atlantic City this year, at Bally’s Beach Bar, but she’s best known for making it to the Top 8 on Season 6 of the hit show “The Voice.”

After a four-chair turnaround, McLaughlin was picked by “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton to be on his team. McLaughlin sang “Angel from Montgomery” — also covered by Shelton’s now-estranged wife, Miranda Lambert. At the time, Shelton said McLaughlin’s rendition rivaled his wife’s version of the song.

“The Voice” is back on NBC September 21.
