Three people, including two teens were shot early Friday as they were riding their bikes in Hunting Park.
The bicyclists were shot at about 1:30 a.m. near 5th Street and Erie Avenue, according to published reports.
The victims, 44, 18 and 17, were all shot from behind, according to NBC10. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said the older man was found “down on the highway suffering from a gunshot wound to his back,” while the teens were discovered three blocks away.

“The 17- and 18-year-old, after being shot, were able to ride their bikes to the 17-year-old’s house,” Small, said, according to NBC10. The 18-year-old was shot in the leg and the other teen in the back.
All three were transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
Reportedly, the two teens were friends, but did not know the other victim, who just happened to be riding his bike nearby. Police did not say who, or if any of the three, were the intended target.
