People who didn’t snag tickets to Marshmello’s three sold-out concerts in Boston got a chance to see the electronic DJ at The Grand nightclub on April 5.
Canadian duo Loud Luxury opened the show at The Grand, a nightclub in Boston’s Seaport District that hit the scene last October. Fresh off a collaboration with singer Anne-Marie, Marshmello lit up the venue with trippy colorful videos featuring his iconic mask, a cylindrical white bucket with x’s as eye, shaped like, obviously, a marshmallow.
Marshmello has yet to show his real face, but as someone who has dropped hits featuring Selena Gomez, Khalid, Logic, Migos and Slushii, there was no way Marshmello could evade the passion of the internet sleuths. Last fall, Marshmello’s identity was revealed by Forbes as 24-year-old American music producer Chris Comstock.
“My name is Chris… short for Christmas came early,” Marshmello joke-tweeted in 2015.
