Actor and comedian Robin Williams has died at age 63. The oscar winning actor and comedic genius was found dead inside his home in Northern California from apparent suicide.
“He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time,” says Mara Buxbaum, Williams’ representative in a statement to ABC News.
Robin Williams was best known for starring in the 1970s sitcom, “Mork & Mindy” and later for films such as “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “Jumanji” and “Patch Adams.”
