Three people were inside a Winthrop home when it exploded this morning, sending debris flying from the house.
The explosion happened just after 8 a.m.
A father and his two daughter were home at the time of the incident, according to WBZ. The man was taken to a Boston hospital with burns. The two daughters were not seriously hurt.
The explosion ripped the door off of its hinges and blew out windows.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion, but gas crews did respond and shut off gas lines in the neighborhood as they investigated.
