Since Mayor Thomas Menino’s announcement March 28 that he’s not running for a sixth term, the race to replace him has been a free-for-all.
Before Menino’s announcement, the only major declared candidate was City Councilor John Connolly. Since the announcement various other candidates have said they’re in, maybe in or definitely not in.
To keep our heads from spinning, Metro created a slideshow to keep track of who is in, who is out and who is maybe in the race for mayor of Boston.
Metro will update the gallery as people drop in or out of the race. Nomination papers can be taken out April 17. A primary election will be held in September with the top two vote-earners facing off in November.
