Pit bull on the loose after attacking man

A pit bull remains on the loose that
a man says attacked him Tuesday morning outside his home in Oakland
Gardens.

The man, Frank Rescigno, 37, said his neighbor’s dog tackled
him on the sidewalk as he left his home for work.

“It ripped the skin
off my leg. Then it latched onto my arm. There was blood everywhere,” he
told the Daily News. Rescigno said he needed 200 stitches after the
bloody attack.

The dog’s owner was given a summons for disorderly
conduct, but the pit bull remains on the loose.
