Fellow billionaire Donald Trump wants you to know Donald Sterling said some really terrible things. But more importantly, Sterling’s girlfriend is just the worst human being ever.
Trump, unsurprisingly, had his priorities a little off in an appearance on “Fox and Friends” Monday morning.
“He got set up by a very, very bad girlfriend, let’s face it,” Trump said. “She’s called the girlfriend from hell, but what he said was terrible and despicable and very strong action is going to be taken.”
The conversation between someone TMZ claims is Sterling and girlfriend V. Stiviano was likely recorded by the model. And Sterling’s wife, who is suing him, is apparently happy to see the tape leaked. But Shelly Sterling is suing Stiviano as well. Why would she be setting up Donald Sterling if she is getting sued too?
Anyway, Trump wants you to know the 31-year-old Stiviano — 50 years Sterling’s junior — is the real lousy person in this saga.
“There’s no question about it,” Trump said, “she’s a terrible human being and he gave horrible answers and disgusting answers.”
Trump’s comments reek of victim blaming, which probably shouldn’t be a surprise considering the source.
I imagine these comments could really hurt Trump when he’s running for president … in a fictional world that exists only in his head.
