Katy Perry parties like a college kid after Ole Miss beats Alabama

Superstar musician Katy Perry intersected with the college sports world on Saturday, and she did it up right.

Perry was in Oxford, Mississippi to attend the weekend’s biggest college football game between No. 11 Ole Miss and No. 3 Alabama. Perry never went to college — in fact she got her GED early in order to pursue a music career — but she certainly looked like she knew what she was doing at a college party.

The Rebels knocked off Alabama, 23-17, for the biggest win in Ole Miss in many decades. And fans caught her chugging beers and jumping off tables while listening to “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Perry was also the guest picker on ESPN’s “College Gameday” Saturday morning. Perry’s manager is an Ole Miss grad, and she had performed Friday in Memphis, Tennessee, so her tour made the trip south to Mississippi.

Perry was actually the only one who picked Ole Miss, and was therefore the only one who got it right. She also did a nice job ripping off Lee Corso’s Alabama mascot head. She spent the final seconds of the show tossing corn dogs at the camera for some reason as well.

Anyway, A-plus job by Perry as a guest picker and a guest college student for the day.
