Rob Gronkowski makes racist comment to Asian man at football watch party

Tom Brady spent his bye week with his supermodel wife in what appeared to be gorgeous Costa Rica, taking in some sun. Rob Gronkowski spent his bye week with a bunch of random people who spent $87 to watch football in what appeared to be Bar Louie in gorgeous Foxboro. He also made fun of an Asian man.

Gronkowski had the microphone at a watch party and said the following in the direction of a fan wearing his No. 87 jersey:

“They told me he could only cook fried rice,” Gronkowski said to a muddled crowd.

Moments later, Gronkowski delivered an outdated reference to “Leslie Chow,” the name of the Asian character played by Ken Jeong from the 2009 film “The Hangover” (I didn’t watch ‘The Hangover’ sequels, because I’m a man. I’m 30).

Gronkowski is dangerously close to going from lovable, “Steve McMichael on the ’85 Bears” meathead to get-the-hell-outta-here, “Steve McMichael on drugs in WCW” meathead given his age and the fact that he has played in and finished exactly four total NFL games without an injury in the past calendar year. He’s still only 24, but it sure is an old 24.
