The NBA Draft serves two purposes. It’s the means for new talent to find a home with an NBA franchise, and it’s also a fashion show.

Expressions are made through quirky and flashy suits, ties, sneakers and even socks. So without further ado, here are some of the most memorable outfits from the 2014 NBA Draft.

Andrew Wiggins, No. 1 to the Cavaliers: A white rose print from Waraire Boswell on a black blazer and flashy black bow tie makes Wiggins look right at home on a Manhattan runway, and in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. His top talent is matched only by his fashion sense, which earn him top marks. His tailor has dressed LeBron James, Blake Griffin and Chris Bosh — some of the NBA’s best dressers. “I almost changed my mind when I saw it,” Cavs GM David Griffin said later on ESPN.Grade: A

Aaron Gordon, No. 4 to the Magic: The Arizona forward gave a nod of his Orlando Magic hat to the 1950’s, with a blue suit giving a bit of summer flavor to the draft. He must have known he was going to the Magic, with his suit matching Orlando blue perfectly. His tie, a contrasting darker blue, was a bit of a letdown. Grade: B-

Marcus Smart, No. 6 to the Celtics: Smart flashed his home state of Texas on the inside of his jacket lining after he was selected. Upon closer inspection by NBA Analyst Jared Zwerling who got a close look said the lining also included his jersey No. 3, and a cancer ribbon and RIP in honor of his brother Todd who died of cancer 10 years ago. The blue suit with a black lapel was a classic look with custom flavor. Grade: B

Dario Saric, No 12 to the Magic (traded to the Sixers): With a grey suit, grey shirt and purple bow tie, the international sensation stands out, but doesn’t go over the top. Inside the lining, he has a Croatian flag showing his pride. It’s a classic look that stood out among the prospect’s in New York. Grade: A

Adreian Payne, No. 15 to the Hawks: To have tight purple pants, you probably shouldn’t be wearing a baby blue plaid suit jacket. But that’s exactly what the Hawk’s pick did at the draft. The positives to his outfit, he honored a Spartan Super fan (8-year-old Lacey Holsworth) who died tragically of cancer this year. He wore it with pride, and for all the right reasons, but visually it falls apart. Grade: C-

Honorable mention:Nik Stauskas in his zoot suit, Noah Vonleh sporting royal blue.
