Plucked from icy waters

Crew members of SeaStreak, a ferry service from Highlands, N.J., to Pier 11 in Manhattan, saved a passenger’s life Tuesday afternoon when a crewer saw a man remove his jacket, climb over the ship’s rail and jump into Sandy Hook Bay. Five crew members were able to pull the man in from the water and took him to a Coast Guard station in Sandy Hook, N.J.
