A 15-year-old Queens boy was arrested for “several hundred swatting cases,” according to authorities.

The minor, whose identity has not been released due to his age, was arrested for falsely making an emergency call in February, according to Nassau County Police.

“Swatting” is typically a cyber-crime in which a hacker will trigger the deployment ofa SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) team to an unsuspecting stranger’s house, but it also applies to those who deceive emergency services by telephone.

SWAT typically responds toemergency calls like bomb threats, murder andhostage-taking.

The teen allegedly made a call on Feb. 5 from his Sunnyside residence to the second precinct in Woodbury claiming that his father was shot and his mother was tied up.

After a history of multiple calls from that location, authorities said they determined the calls to be “swatting” instances.

The teen was arrested on Thursday and charged with reckless endangerment and falsely reporting an incident.
