Halifax Regional Police are investigating an assault yesterday at the same residence they say was shot at twice on Thursday.
“Same address,” said Staff Sgt. Don Fox. “We believe it’s just a continuation of Thursday evening’s incidents.”
Police say they responded to a weapons call at the residence at around 10:15 a.m. yesterday. When they arrived, it was empty, although there were signs an assault had taken place.
The resident was later located at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, police say, where he was receiving treatment for an assault with a weapon.
Fox didn’t know the alleged weapon used but the victim’s injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.
Police say the injured man isn’t co-operating and he knew his attackers.
