Police have confirmed that a woman found dead in West Vancouver’s Lighthouse Park was murdered.
The identity of the victim — a Caucasian woman in her early 40s — will be released after her family has been notified. Police haven’t revealed how she died.
“Investigators still remain at the scene conducting a thorough forensic investigation,” Cpl. Fred Harding said yesterday.
“It is still unclear if this homicide was a random act of violence or not.”
The woman’s body was discovered near Juniper Point around 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Investigators said she might have been living there.
