Police release photos of men wanted in Upper West Side beating

The police have identified a man who was found beaten to death after an apparent robbery attempt at an Upper West Side t-shirt shop on Thursday.

Bubacarr Camera, 26, was found inside BNC General Merchandise at 104th Street and Amsterdam Ave. with severe head trauma around 2 p.m. He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital and later pronounced dead.

Family members told DNAInfo that Camera was working in his father’s shop, and came to the U.S. about a year ago from Gambia, where he has a wife and young child.

The NYPD is looking for three suspects wanted for questioning in Camera’s death. Suspect one is described as a black male, last seen wearing sunglasses, a gray hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers and carrying a black book bag.

The second suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing gray pants and a white hat and wearing a black Reebok swetshirt.

The third suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing a white shirt, gray sleeveless hoodie, black pants and white sneakers.
