Isaiah Murphy will be arraigned in Stoughton District Court on Wednesday, Canton police said. He was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his home on Tuesday morning.
Following weeks of an “intense investigation” into the robberies of more than 20 Dunkin’ Donuts, Canton police said they along with Boston police and the FBI executed a search warrant at Murphy’s home and found evidence linking him to the robberies.
Two of the robberies occurred in Canton and five of them took place in Boston. In mostof the robberies, the suspect wore a mask and displayed a knife or a gun.
Police in several communities in and around Boston released surveillance pictures and video of the robberies in an attempt to get help identifying the robber.
Canton-based Dunkin’ Donuts had offered a $10,000 reward.
