Police seek alleged predatory photographer on 3 train


Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who was allegedly taking pictures of a woman while standing over her on the subway.

The 23-year-old victim told police she was seated and riding the 3 train between 34 and 42 Streets when the man took the pictures.

New York laws surrounding “unlawful surveillance” prohibits the use of a camera “without the knowledge or consent of a person” to view or record “intimate parts” under their clothing.

Anyone with information about theincident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are confidential.
