Police seek four people in Cuomo aide’s shooting death

Police are seeking four individuals possibly connected to the September shooting death of Cuomo aide Carey Gabay.

Around 3:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, Carey Gabay, 43, was struck in the head after multiple shots were fired in front of 1680 Bedford Ave. between Sullivan Place and Montgomery Street in Brooklyn, the NYPD reported. Gabay died from his injuries more than a week later at Kings County Hospital.

Now police have released photos of four individuals possibly involved in the shooting: three black men described as 25 to 30 years old and a black woman believed to be aged 18 to 20.

The shooting that killed Gabay took place hours before the West Indian Day Parade, NBC4 New York reported, adding that police believed Gabay was an unintended victim. More than 24 rounds were fired by as many as three guns in the incident.
