Ottawa police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect after a downtown pharmacy was robbed Saturday.
At approximately 7:15 p.m., a lone male entered the Shoppers Drug Mart on Rideau Street and demanded Oxycontin, police said Wednesday. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of narcotics.
There were no weapons seen and no injuries.
Police are now seeking a white male between 30 and 35 years old and about 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark toque, brown leather jacket and red Vancouver 2010 mitts.
