Police seek male after holiday shooting

Police continue to investigate following a shooting on Canada Day.

According to police, a man in his 20s suffered non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the ByWard Market just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the victim had an altercation with other males, which resulted in shots being fired.

The victim was taken to hospital

Police are seeking a black male in connection with the incident.
