A police union boss wants to go medieval on Quentin Tarantino.

Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association President Pat Lynch blasted the Academy Award-winning director on Sunday for Tarantino’s role in a large protest against police brutality one day earlier.

In a statement, Lynch wrote that it wasn’t a surprise “that someone who makes a living glorifying crime and violence is a cop-hater” and called for a boycott of the filmmaker.

“The police officers that Quentin Tarantino calls murderers aren’t living in one of his depraved big screen fantasies,” Lynch wrote. “They’re risking and sometimes sacrificing their lives to protect communities from real crime and mayhem.”

On Saturday, Tarantino stood in front of some 300 protestors who marched between Washington Square and Bryant parks along Sixth Avenue — 11 of whom were arrested.

“If you believe there’s murder going on then you need to rise up and stand up against it,” Tarantino said. “I’m here to say I’m on the side of the murdered.”

The New York Post reported that the movie maker said the timing of the rally, four days after an officer was shot and killed by a criminal was “unfortunate” and that Officer Randolph Holder’s death was “a tragedy too.”

The rally was organized by “Rise Up October,” and ended a series of protests held across the city this week. Organizers defended their activities as being focused on police brutality.
