Pregnant woman hurt after hit by car in Toronto on New Year’s Eve

TORONTO – A pregnant woman was seriously injured on New Year’s Eve
after she was struck by a vehicle in Toronto.

The victim, who is believed to have a head injury, was rushed to
St. Michael’s Hospital.

The accident happened on Bathurst Street south of Lawrence Avenue.

Police are still trying to determine the woman’s identity.

They are also interviewing the driver of the car involved.
