President Obama is mean because he forgot Brandon Browner

New Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner vowed on Twitter that he would see President Barack Obama again, in reference to the Pats potentially winning the Super Bowl, after he was snubbed by the president during the Seattle Seahawks’ White House visit this past week. Obama mentioned Seattle’s “Legion of Boom” secondary, praising most every member of the 2013 Seattle secondary, except for Browner – who signed with the Patriots in the offseason. The snub may have been made because Browner played in only eight Seattle games in 2013 after being suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abust policy. In other words, he was basically forgotten about when the gettin’ got good in Seattle.

Obama called Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor and Byron Maxwell the “best secondary in the NFL” in his speech honoring the champs. It no doubt made an already awkward afternoon for Browner even more uncomfortable.
