President Obama seems to have magical powers: White House photographer Pete Souza caught the President shooting a rainbow out of his hand as he said goodbye to Jamaica.
It was his first visit as president to the country; some say the move is strategic so that the U.S. can maintain a presence in the Caribbean as Chinese companies move into the region.
Or perhaps it was a way for President Obama to show his goodwill toward the LGBT community; after all, the White House just designated a gender-neutral bathroom and the President spoke out against conversion therapy for youths. Maybe the rainbow is a clever guerrilla marketing scheme – no word from the White House.
