Women dressed in handmaid costumes to protest against President Trump’s visit to Poland on Thursday.

President Trump made a stop in Warsaw, Poland before heading to Germany to meet with other world leaders during the G20 Summit, and was greeted with hundreds of protesters holding anti-Trump signs along with a group of women wearing red maid costumes with white bonnets at Krasiński Square, located in the central district of Warsaw.

The group of women was dressed as characters from Margaret Atwood’s novel, “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which is also a television series on Hulu. The story is about women who are forced to have all their rights taken away.

The group protested against trump’s policies on women’s rights ranging from reproductive rights to healthcare.

At least one man was spotted wearing the handmaid costume during the protests.

A day before the protest, someone posted instructions to create the white bonnet to Facebook for those who wanted to join the event.

In a video posted to Twitter, the women are seen chanting “We will never become handmaids! We won’t allow it!” along with other women raising the LGBTQ pride flag.

Photos and video also show protesters with signs that read “Dumb Trump,” “Trump Not Welcome,” and “Lock Him Up!”

This isn’t the first time women dressed as characters from “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Women have dressed as characters from “The Handmaid’s Tale” during Planned Parenthood and other women’s rights protests in the US.
