President Trump reportedly will not be attending a climate change summit that is going to be held in France in December, not because he’s choosing not to go, but, because he wasn’t invited.

According to Reuters, an official from the office of French President Emmanuel Macron said, that President Trump isn’t invited to this years climate change summit “for the time being.”

More than 100 countries and governmental organizations from around the world will be represented at the summit that is scheduled for December 12. The aim of the summit is to promote green projects and raise money before the global climate conference in Bonn, Germany.

The tentative decision to not invite President Trump to the climate change conference comes after Trump announced to withdraw from the 2015 Paris climate change agreement, claiming it is “very unfair, at the highest level, to the United States.”
