Pricy 550 Vanderbilt penthouse breaks neighborhood record

Pacific Park Brooklyn is 22-acre mixed-use development project that strives to be “more than a place” but a community. While it is years away from full completion, residential building 550 Vanderbilt has already set a neighborhood record.

PHS at 550 Vanderbilt has hit the market for $7.71 million and is the most expensive penthouse listing to hit the market in the up-and-coming Prospect Heights neighborhood.

What’s so special about PHS at 550 Vanderbilt?

550 Vanderbilt is among the first residential buildings to open in Pacific Park Brooklyn, and its PHS occupies nearly 3,000 square feet.

The four-bedroom home features 4.5 baths, high ceilings, oversized windows that offer breathtaking views of the neighborhood and more than 2,400 square feet of outdoor space.

PHS at 550 Vanderbilt also has the distinct honor of being Real Simple’s very first Idea House, which “will showcase the best products, methods and tips for an organized space,” Daren Mazzucca, the magazine’s publisher, said in a statement last month.

A notable interior designer or home organizer has curated each room in the luxury apartment, and Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent will debut their exclusive new furniture collection for Living Spaces in PHS at 550 Vanderbilt.

Among the others involved in the project are HGTV personality Sabrina Soto, Donna Garlough of Joss & Main and organizers from NEAT Method.

“The 550 Vanderbilt penthouse is a premier Brooklyn listing given its unparalleled amenities and distinguished location,” said Ryan Serhant, who is managing sales at the building for Nest Seekers. “Our partnership with Real Simple and top designers like Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent reveals the limitless possibilities in creating a luxurious home in this space.”

The future residents of PHS at 550 Vanderbilt will also have access to 10,000 square feet of building amenities. Among those are a 24-hour concierge service, a McNally Jackson-stocked library, a roof deck, a fitness center designed by The Wright Fit, a children’s playroom, a courtyard, bike storage and a pet washing/grooming station.
