Prince isn’t impressed by the Internet

Prince isn’t a fan of new media, insisting that if people want his new album, they’ll have to go to a store and buy it. “The Internet’s completely over,” the eclectic musician tells the Daily Mirror. “I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it.”

Prince also has some choice words for a certain cable channel: “The Internet’s like MTV,” he says. “At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these com-puters and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”
