Public input meetings for Crime Prevention Ottawa start today

As part of the process of reviewing its activities and identifying priorities for the next three years, Crime Prevention Ottawa is planning a series of public meetings starting Monday.

A French meeting is being held at the Knights of Columbus on 260 McArthur Rd. from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, while a bilingual one is takes place 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nepean Sportsplex. On Thursday, a meeting will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Jim Durrell Centre and on Friday, a session will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Sandy Hill Community Centre.

The organization, dedicated to crime reduction and enhanced community safety in Ottawa through collaborative, evidence-based crime prevention, brings police, school boards, the United Way, and community and business partners together.
