MONTREAL – Quebec provincial police are confirming a 17-year-old girl has died after a car-surfing prank.
Gabrielle Dionne was sitting on either the trunk or the roof of a moving vehicle when she fell off last Tuesday.
She suffered head injuries and police say she died three days later.
The tragedy occurred in Drummondville, midway between Montreal and Quebec City.
Police say four people were riding on the car.
Jessyca Gauthier, 18, was charged last week with dangerous driving causing injury and it was not clear what new charges she might face.
