Queens building super stabbed to death in boiler room

Police are investigating after a building superintendent in Queens was found stabbed to death in the boiler room of the building where he worked.

Around 2:40 p.m. on Monday, police arrived at 123-27 Merrick Blvd. in St. Albans where they found the victim, 50, in the building’s boiler room with multiple stab wounds, CBS2 reported. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Building resident Uganda Grant told NBC4 that the victim was an “extremely good guy, [a] hard worker,” and added, “When they told me how he was killed, that really messed me up. … That was brutal. That was really brutal.”

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was initially found in the boiler room by his girlfriend, CBS2 stated.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, NY1 added.
