Rap icon Ice Cube, Canadian psychedelic rock-band Black Mountain, New York indie art punks Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jack White’s new project The Dead Weather are the latest additions to the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest lineup.
The festival’s executive and artistic director Mark Monahan said organizers have pursued these acts for some time. Bluesfest runs from July 8 to 19 at LeBreton Flats Park.
