Ray Ivany is leaving his position as chair of the Worker’s Compensation Board to become president of Acadia University. Ivany was formerly the president and CEO of Nova Scotia Community College. His resignation is effective Feb. 28.
Ivany was appointed chair of the Worker’s Compensation Board on May 15, 2007. Deputy chair Chris Power will serve as acting chair until a replacement is found.
