Lloydminster RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in the case of an armed robbery Tuesday.

On Aug. 3, RCMP responded to a call at 4723-50 Ave. in Lloydminster, Sask., on a call about a robbery. The suspect allegedly entered a business and requested assistance from a sales clerk.

The sales clerk was then grabbed and taken into a back room where she was tied up. The suspect is alleged to have obtained an undisclosed amount of money before leaving on foot.

Shawn Allan Lundgren, 28, has been identified by the RCMP as a suspect, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Lundgren is also a suspect in two other robberies committed in Lloydminster on Aug. 1 and 2. Lundgren is described as African-American, 6’1” and 180 lbs., with short black hair and brown eyes.

Police advised that a warrant has been issued by the Edmonton Parole Office for Lundgren for failing to abide by the conditions of his statutory release. The public is warned to not approach him as he is believed to be dangerous. Lundgren is currently on parole for robbery with a weapon.
