‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ introduces Aunt Dot, the greatest cast member yet

It’s the second week of “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” and etiquette remains at the top of the agenda. As fans learned during last Sunday’s premiere, bad manners are a major deal breaker for Karen Huger.

Although she grew up on a farm (which Gizelle Bryant has no problem bringing up), Karen explains that her husband Raymond’s Aunt Dot is the inspiration behind her transformation into a Potomac socialite.

Basically, Aunt Dot is the original diva and taught Karen everything she knows. One of the most important etiquette rules: All hot tea should be served piping hot. Otherwise, the beverage gets sent straight back to the kitchen. This is exactly what happens when Dot arrives for a family visit. Not only is her tea not hot enough, but no one brought her any milk. Totally unacceptable!

Considering things got heated last week between Karen and Gizelle, Karen comments, “I’ve thought about lending [Aunt Dot] out to Gizelle, but it’d be a lost cause.” Ouch! Personally, I’d love to see more of Aunt Dot on the show. Fans on Twitter echoed this sentiment, too.
