With manager John Farrell sidelined for the remainder of the 2015 season as he undergoes chemotherapy treatment for Stage 1 lymphoma, the Red Sox have added to their coaching staff.
Torey Lovullo, previously the Sox’ bench coach, will serve as manager for the rest of the year while Dana LeVangie will move from bullpen coach to bench coach. The Sox also promoted Bob Kipper from Triple-A Pawtucket’s pitching to coach to the bullpen coach with the big club.
