Red Sox owner buys $84 million yacht: Report

Looks like John Henry will be spending the MLB offseason on the water. According to Yacht Harbour, the Red Sox head is the new owner of an $84 million Ester III yacht.

Henry, who is also principal owner of The Boston Globe and the Liverpool Football Club and co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing, paid in full for the 216-foot yacht. The ship boasts an infinity pool on the main deck, spa, gym, helipad and accommodations for 12 guests.

Henry reportedly named the yacht Iroquois, which was also the name of a ship he sold in 2013 for $19.5 million.

The ship’s former owner was reportedly Georgy Bedzhamov, a former executive of the bankrupted Russian lender Vneshprombank and former president of the Olympic Russian Federation of Bobsleigh, who has been accused of bank fraud.
