Say goodbye to your squeaky clean image, Reese Witherspoon.

It looks like the Academy Award winning actress was arrested and briefly jailed in Atlanta Friday night after her husband, CAA agent James Toth, was arrested for a DUI.

According to an exclusive report by Variety, it went down this this: A cop noticed a 2013 Ford Focus weaving out of its lane early Friday morning. The cop pulled over the car and smelled alcohol on Toth’s breath. The cop administered a sobriety test.

While this was happening, WItherspoon became “agitated” in the Ford. “Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer,” according to the police report. “I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet.”

After Toth blew a .139 on a Breathalyzer test and was arrested, Witherspoon became more and more vocal. “Mrs. Witherspoon asked, “Do you know my name?” I answered, “No, I don’t need to know your name.” I then added, “right now.” Mrs. Witherspoon stated, “You’re about to find out who I am,” the report states. “Mrs. Witherspoon also stated, ‘You are going to be on national news.’ I advised Mrs. Witherspoon that was fine.”

Some altercation took place between Witherspoon and the officer and so he booked her with “disorderly conduct (obstruction).”

According to Variety, the couple was released on bond at approximately 3:30 a.m. A court appearance is scheduled for today at 8 a.m. Witherspoon and Toth are in Atlanta while Witherspoon films the new film “The Good Lie.”
