Celebrate the Jewish New Year tonight through Sunday with the traditional apples dipped in honey, but with a frozen twist. Café Fiorello, the Redeye, Brooklyn Diner, Trattoria Dell’Arte and Bond 45 will all be serving all-natural, kosher-certified ice cream with sliced apples and honey for $13.

Asellina’s New Seasonal Menu

Executive Chef Marco Porceddu is serving up a selection of handmade pasta, specialty cocktails and secondi as part of the new seasonal menu, which includes goat cheese ravioli and black ink tagliatelle. Weekend brunch is accompanied by a live funk jazz group.

Seven Deadly Sins at Matsuri

Through October, Matsuri will be getting New Yorkers in the Halloween spirit with a Seven Deadly Sins Tasting menu. Sample spicy shrimp skewers (corresponding to Wrath) and slow-cooked beef short rib (Sloth), among other sinfully delicious dishes. Each tasting is paired with sake.

‘Brunch’ of fun for kids

The Setai Fifth Avenue will host “Tunes with Tina,” an interactive children’s musical brunch every Sunday at 12 p.m. For $40 per person and $20 for children 3 and under, kids and adults can choose a total of five courses from two menus as well as coffee, tea or juice. Tina caters to fan requests—everything from Disney tunes to Justin Bieber!
