The Joy of Sake
Tonight from 6 to 9 p.m., enjoy the world’s finest sakes and Asian cuisine pairings at The Joy of Sake event. There will be over 326 sakes available to taste and appetizers by some of the city’s best chefs. Tickets are $90 in advance and 30 percent of sales will go toward brewery families affected by the Great East Japanese Tsunami.

Le Grand Brunch at Brasserie Beaumarchais
Once a month, event planner Ricardo Ralph Lopez will bring a St. Tropez party brunch to diners at this Meatpacking District eatery. Guests will have dishes created by executive chef and Iron Chef Champion Nicholas Cantrel and then will enjoy dancing, high-energy performances and themed parties.

Vintner menu at Tocqueville
French oenophile Michel Chapoutier is showcasing wines at a four-course dinner wine and dinner pairing, now until Nov. 26. The meal features items like braised Japanese yellowtail and oven-roasted pears with chutney. Tickets are $125.

Fall delights at New York Central
The Grand Hyatt restaurant offers the flavors of comfort food with a mix of modern creations and signature dishes. Chef Christian Ragano is serving dishes such as autumn pumpkin soup and pistachio and mint crushed lamb. Breakfast and lunch are served as well.

Sake and Sushi classes at Haru
This weekend, celebrate 15 years of sushi at Haru and learn the basics of sushi-making. Chef Haru himself will walk you through the preparation process as you sip on sake. Tickets are $55.
