The incident happened Friday on a northbound train, and passengers clamored to help conductor Darryl George, 36, who told the Daily News, “There are still good people in New York City.”
The newspaper said the screwdriver wielder was Richard Arrocho, 42, who climbed through an open side window on the 149th Street station in the Bronx.
