Rihanna has officially been subpoenaed to testify in the case against her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, who is accused of assaulting her.
“Rihanna was served at my office by L.A. DA investigators,” her attorney, Donald Etra told People magazine. “If the preliminary hearing indeed goes forward, she is now legally required to be there, she will be there, and will answer all questions truthfully.”
The hearing is set for June 22, when it will be decided if there is enough evidence against Brown to go to trial.
