A brazen robber refused to come out empty handed after trying to rob a bodega but only left with a beer can and cell phone.

Cops said the thief walked into the Alvin Grocery corner store at 1735 Gleason Avenue in the Bronx’s Rosedale section at around 3 p.m. on Jan. 11.

Video surveillance images released on Monday shows the suspect to be a black man in his 20s with brown eyes last seen wearing a glasses, a black jacket, blue jeans and black gloves.

Authorities said the man came into the store and demanded cash from the register.

The employee told him there wasn’t any cash, which prompted the robber to go behind the counter and threatened to shoot the clerk while pretending to have a gun.

With no cash on site, the suspect instead grabbed an LG cell phone and a can of beer before he fled on floot.

NYPD asks that anyone with information in regards to the robbery or suspect call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or text their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
