Robbers steal 262 toothbrushes from Staten Island CVS

A pair of bandits stole hundreds of dollars worth of toothbrushes from a Staten Island pharmacy, according to police.

Authorities said the cavity-defying caper took place on August 22 at around 11:45 p.m., when a man and woman walked into a CVS pharmacy on Hylan Boulavard and Old Town Road.

The two somehow managed to remove 262 toothbrushes from the pharmacy before they fled from the store with a haul police estimate to total $1,200 worth of merchandise.

Police released images taken from surveillance video of the two suspects.

The woman is shown to have dark hair, dark pants and shirt while wearing a tan jacket.

The man was last seen wearing a white tank top and dark pants.
