The zip line constructed by Zip Trek Eco-Tours in early February opens Friday.
The line stretches 170 metres from Robson Square’s south end on Hornby Street to the art gallery on Howe Street, providing 20 to 30 seconds of a pseudo-flying experience over Olympic festivities.
Those willing to take the leap start by climbing a tower three storeys above the courthouse.
The line is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Feb. 28.
