’Hours before Donald J. Trump will be inaugurated as 45th POTUS, Canadian evolutionary biologist and systematist Dr. Vazrick Nazari named a new moth species in his honor. The newly discovered insect bears the name of ‘Neopalpa donaldtrumpi’ because it appears to share the same vivid “yellowish-white” hair-do of the President-elect. “The specific epithet is selected because of the resemblance of the scales on the frons (head) of the moth to Mr. Trump’s hairstyle,” says Canadian scientistVazrick Nazari.
