A Scituate man has ended the reign of the winningest female in the history of “Jeopardy!”
Brian Loughnane, an investment operations manager, beat Julia Collins during Monday night’s episode of the long-running TV quiz show.
Collins, from the Chicago area, won 20 consecutive games. That put her at second place for games won all-time. She sits in third place in terms of money won during the show’s regular season, claiming $428,100.
The all-time “Jeopardy!” games winner is Ken Jennings who won 74 straight games.
