See the Giants’ new Super Bowl rings

Back on Feb. 5, the Giants earned their fourth Super Bowl ring with a 21-17 victory over the Patriots. Tonight, they’ll finally get to put them on.

No surprise, it’s massive, garish and worth a whole lot of money. It was designed by Tiffany & Co., with input from management, head coach Tom Coughlin and the captains. It is white gold, with diamonds and 37 blue sapphires covering the top.

“The blue makes it a little different,” quarterback and offensive captain Eli Manning said. “We wanted some blue; the Giants are Big Blue. We definitely wanted to get a little blue to spark it up a little bit.”

All four Lombardi trophies (1986, 1990, 2007, 2011) are featured on the top with “All In” and “Finish” engraved on the inside.

“We definitely wanted ‘Finish;’ we definitely wanted ‘All In,’” defensive captain Justin Tuck said. “Those were two things we prided ourselves on, not only during the season, but especially through the playoff run. And we won games that way. So we definitely wanted those in there.”

The team will hold it’s ceremony Wednesday night at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street in Midtown.

And yes, the Giants players realize it is garish.

“[Former Giants captain Michael Strahan] talked about the 10 table ring,” Tuck said. “He wanted a ring you could see from 10 tables away. I talked about the restaurant ring. I wanted one that was big enough to see throughout whatever restaurant you go in and see it from each corner.”
