Good luck finding someplace new to drink margaritas by the yard.

Señor Frog’s in Times Square was always an oddity, an urban outpost of the Spring Break-themed vaguely Mexican bar-restaurant chain usually found closer to beaches and year-round sunshine. The New York location opened only back in October and has now closed, according to the New York Times.

Should you mourn that you never indulged in its pricey tacos and mid-meal conga lines? Gothamist found some merits, while the NYTimes’ Pete Wells had serious fun pretending he was still in college. Maybe someone else can figure out what to do with that doomed corner at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue in the shadow of the Port Authority, where the two-story ode to NYC that was Urbo shuttered back in March.

Where will we get our over-the-top eats in the Theater District now? Don’t worry, irony-loving New Yorkers, Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar is still going strong.
